Andrew is the Senior Director Quality Assurance at Loblaw Companies Limited where he heads a dedicated team responsible for supplier approval, performance management and the overall safety and quality of Control Branded products through a diverse global supplier network.  Andrew holds a BSc Food Technology and MSc Food Safety Management.  During his career Andrew has worked in a variety of professional roles associated with food safety and quality management in several geographical locations, holding various positions in food manufacturing, food service and retail sectors, and food law enforcement in the for the UK Food Standards Agency.

Additionally Andrew is active in a number of organizations and associations supporting the advancement of food safety on a global scale, including serving on the BRCGS Advisory Board and several GFSI Working Groups for many years.  An active member of the International Association for Food Protection, during 2020 Andrew was awarded the IAFP Harold Barnum Industry Award for his dedication and outstanding service to the public, IAFP and the food industry.
