Title: Food Fraud Prevention: What is next for 2023?

The GFSI Food Fraud Position Paper is now ten years old. In many ways, there have been phenomenal advances in the field and in other ways, there has been stagnation. This presentation will review how we got here, what has been great, what has been slow, and what is happening now. The start of a new year is an excellent time to conduct a gap analysis and set some plans for the coming year. When implementing a food fraud management system, many companies become more efficient and reduce their workload. A key to the efficient path forward is the thorough and holistic implementation of food safety management systems and the support of the audit and certification process.
