Marin Pavlic
Marin Pavlic has over 15 years of food safety and Six Sigma experience in food manufacturing and foodservice sectors. He is currently Senior Director of QA Programs and Compliance at Sofina Foods, one of Canada’s leading manufacturers of primary and further-processed protein products. In addition to food safety, he is passionate about continuous improvement and waste elimination using technology, data, and various Six Sigma tools. Marin holds a B.Sc. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto, an M.Sc. in Food Safety and Quality Assurance from the University of Guelph, and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Tanguy Etoga
Tanguy Etoga is the Founder and CEO of NORMEX, a software platform focused on driving the digital transformation of food safety management. NORMEX is designed to facilitate the management of food safety programs by integrating IoT, AI, and predictive analysis to automate tasks and provide actionable insights. Tanguy holds a BSc in Food Science from Laval University and an MSc in Operations Management from McGill University.
With a strong background in Food Safety and Operations, Tanguy recognized the need for a more efficient approach to managing food safety. This led to the creation of NORMEX, which has expanded to seven countries, helping businesses streamline their food safety processes.
Tanguy regularly shares his expertise at industry events such as the Canadian Food Safety Summit, the Alberta Food Protection Association, AQIA, the Ontario Food Protection Association, and the International Association for Food Protection, promoting the adoption of digital solutions to improve food safety operations. His leadership continues to drive NORMEX’s growth as a trusted partner worldwide.
