Food fraud isn’t just a regulatory or quality control issue; it often starts with sourcing. Procurement teams are on the front lines, making decisions about cost, suppliers, and specifications, where the risk of adulteration or misrepresentation can quietly enter the supply chain.
This session explores how Procurement and Quality Assurance can work together to embed science-backed authenticity testing early in the process to prevent fraud before it happens. We’ll share practical strategies that align with the realities of retailers and manufacturers, helping teams protect margins, ensure ingredient integrity, and build lasting consumer trust.
