Ops chases throughput. Food safety chases compliance. Most companies treat them as two separate scorecards, sometimes even two competing ones. They’re not. They’re reading the same floor, just in different languages.

In this session, Saba (Head of Global Operations, Nurau) breaks down the equations she uses to connect operational efficiency directly to food safety outcomes, and why the two aren’t a tradeoff but the same math, solved from different angles. You’ll leave with a practical way to get your ops and quality teams speaking the same language, reading the same data, and pulling toward the same business result: safe food, delivered efficiently, protecting the bottom line.

If your ops and food safety teams still operate in silos, this is the session that shows you exactly where the disconnect is costing you, and how to close it.

Meet Our Expert

Saba Saremi
Head of Global Operations,  Nurau

Saba leads Global Operations at Nurau, a platform that captures frontline food safety and operational signals in real time across multi-site food organizations.

Trained as a nutritionist, she started her career in food production environments, working alongside production teams, QA leaders, and supervisors. There, she saw a recurring pattern: most food safety incidents don’t start in audits, they start as small signals during the shift, deviations, near-misses, and process breakdowns that disappear between handovers until they escalate.

That frontline experience shaped how she thinks about ops and food safety today. Saba works with food manufacturers, distribution operations, and multi-site organizations to close the gap between what happens on the floor and what makes it into the system, and to help ops and quality teams see how closely their goals are already connected.
